Overview
Hashtags by Hashtags is committed to the safety and wellbeing of children. We explicitly and strictly prohibit any content, behavior, or activity that involves child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page describes our published standards, enforcement approach, reporting channel(s), and other steps we take to reduce the risk of child harm on our platform.
What we prohibit
- Any sexual content involving minors or content that sexualizes children in any way.
- Content that depicts, promotes, glamorizes, or normalizes child sexual abuse or exploitation.
- Requests, offers, or facilitation of sexual activity with minors, including solicitation or grooming behaviors.
- Images, videos, or file attachments that show sexual activity involving minors, or altered content that creates the sexualized depiction of a child.
Our commitments and actions
- We will remove any content that violates these standards without delay.
- Accounts posting CSAE content or engaging in grooming, solicitation, or related infractions will be suspended or permanently banned.
- We will report confirmed or credible instances of CSAE to the appropriate law enforcement authorities and, where applicable, to national hotlines or child protection organizations.
- We maintain internal moderation workflows and a reporting system to quickly review and act on user reports.
- We regularly update our policies, moderation tools, and staff training to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
Reporting and contact
If you encounter content or behavior that you believe violates these standards, please report it immediately. Provide as much detail as possible (links, screenshots, usernames, timestamps).

Moderation & enforcement process
We combine automated detection tools and human review to identify potentially harmful content. Our enforcement process includes:
- Immediate takedown of content that clearly violates policy.
- Fast human review of borderline cases, prioritizing reports involving potential child harm.
- Preservation of evidence and cooperation with law enforcement when required by law or when serious harm is suspected.
Data retention
We retain evidence and related logs for a period necessary to investigate reports, cooperate with authorities, and meet legal obligations. We follow data protection laws and our Privacy Policy regarding storage, access, and deletion.
